The Government of Samoa, through the Ministry of Finance, held a Public Sector Procurement Training Workshop on 17 June 2026 at the Tui Atua Tupua Tamasese Efi (TATTE) Convention Centre.

The workshop aimed to strengthen the capacity of public sector officials in applying Government procurement policies and procedures to ensure transparent, efficient, and value-for-money procurement practices.

Public procurement plays a vital role in delivering Government services and development projects. The training enhanced participants' understanding of procurement planning, compliance, and good governance.

The Government remains committed to strengthening procurement capability across the public sector to improve service delivery and achieve better outcomes for the people of Samoa.
